Initially you might have thought that either a garbage truck or a semi truck (also known as an 18 wheel or tractor trailer truck) would not be considered sexy.
What is sexy about one of them?
If you stretch the point and see the two trucks from a logical point of view, will this give you the answer?
If you look at two trucks from a logical point of view, you can say:
1. Both are big
2. Both are strong
3. They both have a lot of individuality
4. And some of them are actually beautiful (remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
But the reality of the problem is that research has shown that none of these things matter when deciding what women think about one of the trucks. What's important is ...
Perception IS Reality
If something is considered sexy, then it's sexy - logic doesn't matter.
The truth is that semi trucks are considered sexy because many popular semi truck movies.
Think about films like Smokey and The Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed, and Kenworth semi trucks.
What about the film, the convoy with Kris Kristofferson and Ali McGraw?
Don't forget the film, White Line Fever with the famous Ford cab-over, "Blue Mule." This dump truck hino list continues.
The fact is that the film has truly changed the image of the truck.
Let's face it, the reason low garbage trucks are not considered sexy by women (and men for that matter) is because there are no popular films with big stars who drive garbage trucks.
Therefore, dump trucks are not considered sexy at least - maybe one day, but not yet.
Bottom line: Women think semi trucks are much sexier than garbage trucks. For further proof, ask any woman if she is interested in traveling cross country with a famous movie star in a semi truck and see how many say, "Yes" and you will get your answer. If you are not entirely sure, ask the same question, but replace the phrase dump truck with a semi truck.
